Cumulus provides pilot services if you need a pilot. We do pre-buy inspections that include an evaluation flight. If you have a deal on an Eclipse and want to be sure it meets the original factory spec's, we will do a complete inspection of the interior and exterior, followed by the same flight test profile we used for new aircraft deliveries. If the aircraft passes our rigid inspection, you can be sure you are getting an aircraft that will serve you well. We do return to service flights for aircraft coming out of maintenance or upgrade. We're based in ABQ and readily available to fly your aircraft after extended factory maintenance. A return to service flight will assure you everything is working OK before you leave for your home base.

We also do training in your aircraft at your location or ours. Working with Norton aircraft training, we can also provide an aircraft for your use if required. The rates are competitive and the program is the best. Simulator training is good training, but remember SimCom training is done in an Avidyne based full motion simulator, not an Avio NG or upgraded version. You may need differences training when you finish in the simulator.

Also, you will need mentoring. The Mentor program that we developed for the original Eclipse is a key element in the excellent safety record of the aircraft. No fatal accidents with over 60,000 hours of flying.

Mentor time is based on proficiency, not a fixed number of hours. We know mentoring and when you finish our mentor program, your insurance carrier will give you a good rate to cover your aircraft.
